Join The Parade
LET'S DANCE

Learn the simple choreography from our fierce friends at WigLe Dance and join the festivities as the parade ends on King Street.

We're always interested in hearing from new artists so you can apply to perform on our Community Stage on Sun 9th of July using the form below. 

We have limited d
aytime slots available for an individual or group to perform. 

JOIN THE
PARADE

We are looking for participants aged 16+ to join the percussion section of our exciting community parade on Saturday 8th July.
 

Participants will need to come along to a workshop, then join the parade on the day. They will play either djembe, hand drums or shakers and stick clicks. Experience not essential, but good sense of rhythm and also some strength and fitness required for the heavier instruments.

PARADE

Saturday 8th July, 11am-2pm 
Mesnes Park - King Street, Wigan

BLING
MY WHEELS

THIS EVENT HAS ALREADY HAPPENED
Grand Arcade | Wigan

 

We're looking for people to bring along their wheels to the Grand Arcade, and work with an artist Vicky Tyrell to decorate them! You'll then be invited to take part in an exciting parade through the streets of Wigan this summer.
 

Participants need to bring their own wheels, whether they are scooters, small bikes, wheelchairs, mobility scooters, skateboards. You will create attachable parade decorations so that you can come and take part in parade on Saturday 8th July.

MINI
RAVERS

Wednesday 21st June 2023 10AM - 11:30AM 
Victorian Courtroom | The Old Courts


Taking over from Everyday’s Mini Makers for 1 week, join us for Mini Ravers! A FREE family friendly rave party for little people and their grown-ups. Join us for dancing, disco vibes, party hat making and soft play.

 

The session is led by dance artists, Juliana and Stuart and will include a craft station for hat making, led by the team at Everyday.
