We’re pleased to confirm the parade is going ahead today at a slightly earlier time. 🎉
After closely monitoring the weather reports, we have made the decision to now start the parade at 12pm.
Join us at Mesnes Park or line the streets from Standishgate to Market Place to watch Farrah & Frankie scoot by, alongside hundreds of community members!
All timings of our programme have now moved 1hr earlier than previously scheduled due to weather conditions and bringing the parade forward.
Friday 7th July 2023 | 17:00 Following recent weather updates, we have made some slight changes to how Streets Apart Festival will run. Safety is our top priority and we are still determined to deliver a wonderful weekend.
The parade is going ahead as planned at 1pm, travelling from Mesnes Park to King St. You can join us on Standishgate and around Market Place to watch. We recommend you bring your raincoats, just in case!
Our family friendly programme taking place from 2pm-5pm will now happen at JAK'S, King St. This is an accessible space and everyone is welcome, the activities planned remain the same.
In the evening, from 5pm – 10pm, the DJ’s & dancers will perform on the outdoor King St stage. We do have a contingency plan in case the weather takes a turn.
Sunday's plans are unchanged. The programme will run as scheduled between 12pm-5pm. We are closely monitoring the weather and we’ll communicate any further updates across our social channels and website.
